ACTS clinicians use a strength-based approach when working with their clients.
The purpose of treatment is to enhance clients’ well-being. Resilience, self-esteem and confidence will be improved by increasing the client’s understanding of their ADHD or executive function challenges, developing new approaches that address these challenges and building on current strengths.
These workshops are designed to provide individuals with accurate information about ADHD as well as to increase their understanding of treatment options and coping strategies.
Couples impacted by ADHD are at high risk of relationship difficulties. Couples counselling helps partners re-establish the connection that initially brought them together and strengthen their partnership moving forward.
